Pablo Arguelles

He is a photographer and a writer. He was born on December 11 in Puebla, Mexico and passes between everyday life and memory exploring different ways of understanding the world. His work combines letters and photographic formats with a deep curiosity for cities and light.

For ten years he has been writing columns and chronicles on minor topics that have found their way thanks to the freedom given to him by various publications. He has been a radio announcer and professor of journalism and photography. Together with María Prieto, he founded Proyecto Análogo and La Máquina Roja Ediciones in 2017, parallel projects that coexist and have become his life project.

He currently attends the Creative Practices Program at the International Center of Photography (ICP).

He lives in New York.
